Point in Time 2022

When

January 26-27, 2022
5pm – 5pm

What

The Point-in-Time (PIT) count is a count of sheltered and unsheltered people experiencing homelessness one single night. This count helps plan services necessary for our local needs, measure progress in decreasing homelessness, and identify strengths and gaps in a community’s current homelessness assistance system.

Who – We Need You!

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO SIGN UP TO GO OUT IN GROUPS AND LOOK FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS. YOU WILL CONDUCT A QUICK SURVEY AND GIVE THEM A “GOODY BAG” JUST TO LET THEM KNOW THAT WE CARE.

How – Can You Help?

• DONATING “GOODY BAG” /DONATION ITEMS
• VOLUNTEERING TO PARTICIPATE IN THE COUNT AND/OR MAKE GOODY BAGS

DONATIONS CAN BE DROPPED OFF AT THE UWSV OFFICE LOCATED: 871 SW SR 47, LAKE CITY, FL 32025 OR CALL AND WE WILL ARRANGE FOR SOMEONE TO PICK IT UP!
