November gives us a day for giving thanks, followed by two days for getting great deals. Now, the first Tuesday in December is dedicated to the “Power” of giving back to our community. #GivingTuesday has become a global giving movement fueled by social media and collaboration, but the POWER behind this phenomena is YOU!!   The selfless generosity from our partnerships, have made a tremendous impact on enhancing our community. However, #GivingTuesday is a day that teaches us how ANYONE can make an impact by givng online.

To get results in anything you do, you must have a source of POWER. We at United Way of Suwannee Valley believe that man-power within our communities will not only produce a successful #GivingTuesday, but make an impact that truly demonstrates.

Do you want to make an impact? Here are some simple ways of how YOU can help.

GIVE 

Every dollar you donate helps fight for the health, education, and financial stability of our Community citizens. It is awarded to local agencies in our communities. Every gift matters! You get to choose the amount you want to give. With every donation, our POWER to make an impact gets stronger.

Our goal for this year is $5,000 and donations for those experiencing homelessness!.

 ADVOCATE

Engage with us on social media and use your voice to impact our community. Tell us, and everyone you know, that you support #GivingTuesday and the “High 5 Challenge” (click for details) by sharing our donation link to begin a chain of giving.

We are looking for individuals willing to share their voice, businesses ready to show the world of social media how much they care, and groups (large or small) who are eager to make an impression on the importance of giving to the community.
