FEMA has declared Individual Assistance (IA) for Hurricane Helene. What does this mean for you? It means that you can apply for disaster assistance from FEMA to help offset your disaster-related expenses. You can apply online at https://www.disasterassistance.gov/ or by telephone at (800) 621-3362. Otherwise, you can download the FEMA weather app from Google PlayStore or the Apple Store and you can apply for assistance on the app and upload receipts.

The Citizens information Center (CIC) is a hotline provided by your county during local emergencies to call for non-emergency needs such as calling for information about local aid being given out due to the emergency or to report dangerous thing in your area such as downed powerlines or trees blocking the road preventing emergency vehicles from traveling. Multi Agency Resource Center (MARC) will be opening at the Old Hamilton County High School Gym located 255 Chan Bridge Avenue on October 3, 2024.
The hours of operation will be 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Services include: FEMA Registration, Individual assistance, Disaster survivor assistance, and Sheltering.
