Carol Johnson is the Executive Director of Vivid Visions, Inc., the certified Domestic Violence center for Suwannee County.

I have worked with survivors of Domestic Violence for over 10 years. I am a mother of 4 children and 1 grandchild. I survived a Domestic Violence relationship that almost cost me my children and my life. When I was able to heal and recover, I knew that being an advocate was going to be my life’s mission. My goal is to assist as many women and children as possible in escaping abusive homes. Believing that everyone should live a life free of violence, I hope to continue this work helping, loving and inspiring others for a long time to come.

As community members and community care providers, we play an important role in the coordinated community response to Domestic Violence.
Understanding Domestic Violence is the key to addressing, identifying, and intervening. Only through Prevention can we stop Domestic Violence.
